March Races - 2018

This month we will have all 4 classes.

Cars are due March 17th, 2018. Racing will start the following week. Video and results will be posted the following Saturday, March 24th. 

Open Modified 

• Cars must be 57 grams or under. 
• Cars may be modified for speed, looks, or both. 
• Length: must be 3.75 inches or less 
• Height: must be 2 inches or less 
• Width: must fit on Hot Wheels orange track 
• Dry lubes only 
• 2 cars per entrant 
• There is a $1 per car entrance fee.

Open Stock 

• Cars must be stock - no modifications for speed other than dry lubes 
• Dry lubes are allowed 
• Cars may be any brand 1/64 scale 
• Cars must be 3.75 inches in length or less.
• 2 cars per entrant 
• There is a $1 per car entrance fee.

Hot Off the Shelf 

• New in the package Hot Wheels from this year, last year, and next year - 2017, 2018, and 2019 
• Cars can be mainline cars or any of the special series cars, ie color shifters, character cars, pop culture cars, etc. Just as long as it says Hot Wheels. 
• Winner take all race - meaning whoever wins gets all the cars in this race. 
• 2 cars per entrant 
• There is a $1 per car entrance fee.

Feature Race 

This month's feature race is March Madness, and March Madness is all about college basketball.  Towards the end of March one of the greatest events in sports takes place, the NCAA basketball tournament.  Your team may not make it all the way to the Final Four, but lets see how far you can take them on the track.  For the March Madness race, your cars need to represent a college or university.  Cars should be the school colors of the college/university you are representing.  If you can do logos with sticker or paint, etc. that would be cool too.  Anything you can do to your car to show off that school spirit.  When you send in your cars make sure to include what college/university your cars are representing.

Width: must fit on Hot Wheels orange track
Dry lubes only
NO FTEs - this race we are trying to get some speed out of something other that Faster than Ever wheels and axles. 

Racers may enter up to two cars. There will be a $1 entrance fee per car.

Races will be videoed and posted online.

This race is part of the 2018 Diecast 64 points series.

Local and Mail-in cars are welcome.  Mail-in cars should be sent with return postage if the racer wants them back.  Mail-in cars should also be accompanied with an entry form.
